St Peter & St Paul Feast

Today, the Church celebrates with great joy the feast of two of its greatest pillars, St. Peter and St. Paul. Because of the gospel, both apostles suffered martyrdom in Rome around the years 60's in the era of Our Lord.We celebrate today the legacy of the two most inﬂuential personalities of the NT. Immediately only after Jesus, Peter and Paul represent the two faces of the Catholic Church up to our own days. The traditional and hierarchical church arising from the Jewish tradition and its Mosaic Law is represented in Peter's ministry On the other hand, the evangelical and missionary church, reaching out to the gentile world at the impulse of the Holy Spirit was led by Paul and his ministry away from Jerusalem.

But even when these tremendous personalities hugely contributed to church's foundation, they were still imperfect human beings, like you and me. And it is precisely here where we can take our own lesson from today's readings. On the one side, even when Peter was the visible leader of the original twelve, even when he

recognized Jesus as the Messiah and the Son of the living God, he sneaked from Jesus' presence at the time of His passion,and denied Him three times.

On the other side, Paul also experienced his conversion on the road to Damascus. As we can see, both Peter and Paul enjoyed a moment of divine revelation, and the same is true for each one of us today. It doesn't matter what we have been, it doesn't matter our origin or our past behavior, it doesn't matter our ethnicity or our social status. What is important is to be aware of Jesus' presence around us.

Today, as we approach the altar of the sacriﬁce, the place where we will partake from the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, let's ask for the grace of God's presence in our own lives. Let us pray that we will be able to recognize our mission,and to commit ourselves with its consequences for our daily lives. Let us pray that we will be able to discover and to love Jesus' presence by our side. In imitation of Paul, let us ask Him to bring us safe to His heavenly kingdom.

San Pedro y San Pablo

Celebramos el día de hoy, con gran júbilo en nuestros corazones, la fiesta de los dos grandes pilares de la Iglesia universal, y que ofrecieron sus vidas por cumplir la misión que les había sido encomendada. La fiesta de San Pedro y San Pablo recuerda su martirio en Roma alrededor de los años 60's de nuestra era. Solo en seguida de Cristo, son Pedro y Pablo las dos personas que más influyen en el NT, y representan hasta hoy en día, dos caras distintas en nuestra Iglesia moderna. La Iglesia tradicional y jerárquica, naciendo de la tradición judía y la ley de Moisés, representada por el ministerio Petrino Por otro lado, la Iglesia misionera y evangélica, fuera de Jerusalén, predicando a los paganos al impulso del ES, y que encuentra en Pablo a su líder indiscutible y natural.

Pero aun cuando la contribución de estas grandes personalidades fue enorme, ellos eran también seres humanos imperfectos, como ustedes y como yo Y es esta precisamente la lección que podemos hoy tomar de las lecturas. Por un lado, aun cuando Pedro fue el escogido para ser el líder de los doce, ¡aun cuando había reconocido a Jesús como Mesías e Hijo de Dios! Pedro se apartó de Jesús durante

Hôm nay, Giáo hội hân hoan mừng lễ hai trụ cột vĩ đại của Giáo hội hoàn vũ, những người đã hiến dâng cuộc đời mình để hoàn thành sứ mệnh được giao phó Lễ Thánh Phêrô và Phaolô cả hai tông đồ đều chịu tử đạo tại Rôma vào khoảng những năm 60 trong thời Chúa chúng ta. Chỉ sau Chúa Kitô, Phêrô và Phaolô là hai người có ảnh hưởng nhất trong Tân Ước, và cho đến ngày nay, họ đại diện cho hai khuôn mặt riêng biệt của Giáo hội hiện đại của chúng ta. Giáo hội truyền thống và có phẩm trật, bắt nguồn từ truyền thống Do Thái và luật Môsê, được đại diện bởi chức thánh Phêrô Mặt khác, Giáo hội truyền giáo và Tin mừng, bên ngoài Jerusalem, rao giảng cho những người ngoại đạo dưới sự ảnh hưởng của Chúa Thánh Thần,và được hướng dẫn bởi Phaolô và chức vụ của Ngài.

Pidamos que seamos capaces de reconocer la misión que se nos ha encomendado, y de aceptar las consecuencias de la misma. Roguemos ser capaces de descubrir su presencia divina en nuestras vidas. Como Pablo, ¡pidámosle hoy que nos lleve sanos y salvos a su reino celestial!

Chúng ta hãy cầu nguyện để chúng ta có thể nhận ra sứ mệnh của mình và chấp nhận những hậu quả của nó đối với cuộc sống hàng ngày của chúng ta. Chúng ta hãy cầu nguyện để chúng ta có thể khám phá và yêu mến sự hiện diện của Chúa Giêsu trong cuộc sống của chúng ta. Religious Education Program

Registration 2025-2026

Registration for First Communion, RCIA, RCIC and Conﬁrmation will start Sunday, July 13 from 9am2pm. You can also register your children for the sacraments during this period by coming to the parish ofﬁce Monday 1pm - 6pm, Tuesday - Friday from 12pm—6pm.

Remember we have limited space, do not wait to register. Pick up the application forms and bring it to the ofﬁce soonest.

Documents that you'll need at the time of registration and other requirements

The student must be 8 – 13 years old, be able to read and write in English.

Students who need the Sacraments of initiation must be 7 – 17 years old.

Adult RCIA students need to be 18 years old and up

Conﬁrmation

A copy of the Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate and First Communion Certificate. The student must be in 8th grade or 13 - 17 years old.

Registration Fees is $200.00 each student, two and more students in the same family, $150 each.
