Up to 40% More Resilient Artificial Fibres Artificial grass is manufactured from one (or a mix) of three different types of plastic. Polypropylene, Polyethylene or Nylon (polyamide).

Nylon is the strongest and most resilient fibre used within the textile industry.

When you compare it against polyethylene, it’s up to 40% more resilient and 33% stronger.

Ultra Tough Backing A good way to check the quality of artificial grass is to look at the backing.

The primary and secondary backings of inferior artificial grass break apart due to low quantities of latex. Our products are weaved on a reinforced Polypropylene 163gr/m2 backing to form the primary layer with 968 gr/m2 of heavy duty latex giving an outstanding anchoring resistance that’s greater than 30N to each fibre.

The high percentage of latex present in the backing of our products results in high strength artificial grass that has the flexibility to prevent cracking or breaking.

Fibre Thickness

Fibre thickness plays a very important role in the quality of artificial grass. Inferior artificial grass fibres tend to have thin fibres that have low resilience and over time breakdown, giving the lawn a flat unrealistic look.

Our products have an industry leading 200/99 micron thickness, capable of withstanding heavy foot traffic and wear. You can compare artificial fibres by holding them up to the light.

Tested for Harmful Substances Unfortunately, in the past, some artificial grasses have been found to contain dangerous chemicals, such as lead.

Therefore, it’s extremely important for the health of your family and pet(s) that you choose an artificial grass that is free from harmful chemicals and substances.

Our products have been independently tested and certified against harmful substances by Oeko-Tex, the leading authority for independent safety testing in the textile industry.

Fire Resistant Unfortunately, fires can and do happen.

The last thing you want is for your artificial lawn to help a fire spread.

All of our products have passed rigorous independent fire-retardant tests to ensure their safety and resistance against fire. They have been classified as Cfl-s1 in fire-retardant tests for flooring according to UNE EN 13501-12007 - the best guarantee for a fire-resistant artificial turf.

Installation Accessories Specialist Artificial Grass Weed Membrane Our heavy duty artificial grass weed membrane is used to prevent weeds from growing through your lawn.

10mm & 20mm Foam Underlay Our Tough, free draining foam underlay is great for roof gardens and laying on top of hard surfaces such as concrete. This high quality foam will not expand or hold nasty smells.

We recommend a double layer; one layer underneath the sub base and another directly underneath the grass.

Multi Purpose 2-Part Joining Adhesive 5kg or 10kg

Aquabond Joining Adhesive

Envirostik Multi Purpose artificial grass glue (adhesive) is used to securely join artificial grass to our special joining tape to create an ultra strong, waterproof joint.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: Is it completely maintenance free?

A: Not quite. Unfortunately, nothing that is exposed to the elements is completely maintenance free. Luckily though, maintenance is minimal. Depending on usage, your grass will need the occasional brush with a stiff broom in the opposite direction to the pile. This will also remove detritus build up although a garden vacuum can be used for this.

Q: Is artificial grass suitable for dogs and pets?

A: Yes. It is perfect for pet owners. The majority of our customers have dogs as they become tired of having their lawns destroyed and muddy paw prints in the house and on the furniture. Dogs can’t dig through artificial grass and their ‘mess’ will not stain and it can be hosed through the grass. However, with the British weather, this is normally only required during the summer months.

Q: Which grass is best for dog owners?

A: All of our grass are suitable for pets, although some are better suited than others. Please visit www.neograss.co.uk for our recommended grasses for pets.

Q: How do I clean up my dogs mess?

A: This can be hosed through the grass. However, with the British weather, this is normally only required during the summer months. Solids can be picked up as normal. Dogs mess will not stain your grass.

Q; Is artificial grass suitable for children?

A: Yes. It’s perfect for children as they can play on the lawn all year round without getting muddy. Our artificial grasses are designed with safety in mind. They have been approved by Oeko Tex which means that our grasses have been independently tested for harmful substances. Artificial grass is softer than normal grass and for extra protection, our grasses can be installed in conjunction with a safety shock pad.

Q: How long does it take to install?

A: This depends on the area. A 40m2 lawn will usually take 2 days for an experienced team of 2 to install, including ground preparation. DIYers may take 3-4 days.

Q: Does it matter which way I lay the grass?

A: Yes. Every artificial grass has a slight pile direction. Ideally the pile should be facing towards your home. If using more than one piece of grass it is crucial that the fibres on each grass are facing the same direction.

Q: What sizes do the rolls come in?

A: Widths of 2m and 4m are available up to a maximum length of 25m. Please remember that artificial grass can be very heavy so please bare this in mind when ordering.

Q: How long will the grass last for?

A: We provide warranties of up to 10 Years however if installed correctly, our grasses will last for up to 20 years.

Q: Will weeds grow through it?

If its installed correctly, then no. We recommend a double layer of weed membrane. One installed underneath the sub base and another on top of the sub base, directly underneath the grass. This stops weeds from growing through the grass. Weeds can potentially grow up the sides of the grass and airborne seeds can potentially cause weeds to nestle in the fibres, however these weeds are very easily removed.

Q: Is it permeable?

A: Yes. There are drainage holes on the underside of the grass which allows water to drain through. Our products drain up to 52 litres of water per square metre, per minute

Q: How long does delivery take?
