Wearable technology break-through Now, for the very first time, the data can show who, why, where, when, how and how hard people fall. So, with luck, further falls may be prevented. Fall-Safe Assist is embedded in the successful Fall-Safe hip protectors and it identifies and records each and every fall automatically, showing the time/date, the id. of the wearer, location of the fall, its direction and its force, as the weight of the wearer is already known. This information will now enable researchers to pinpoint the factors that are most significant in causing falls, in order to reduce their prevalence.
