We are a private dental practice in Kingston Vale, London and are pleased to offer you a brand new local referral service in Sedation Dentistry for private patients.

The enclosed referral pack helps to support you in making referrals for any anxious patients requiring complex oral surgery procedures and general dentistry under Sedation.

Our service is provided by SAAD qualified Sedation dentists and nurses, fully trained and experienced in both inhalation (Nitrous oxide) sedation and intra venous sedation.

The Cherrytree Dental Care is a family private dental practice, offering personalised dentistry in a relaxed and caring atmosphere. We always endeavor to see patients within a week of their referral, and in urgent cases, within 24 hours or on the same day. You can expect an efficient and comfortable treatment with us, something a nervous patient greatly appreciates. Our patients have given very positive feedback with regards to the Sedation and comfort levels experienced.

Our SAAD Sedation dentists are Dr Ivalio Raitchev (153726) and Dr Nadia Raitchev (194100), both qualified and experienced in providing RA and intra venous sedation. Dr Ivailo Raitchev BDS (Lond) MFDS RCS(Ed) has extensive experience as a staff grade in oral surgery and has over 1500 patients and 6 years’ experience in this field alone. He is passionate about his work and has a unique talent for Oral Surgery; he currently works as an Oral and Maxillofacial Staff Grade Oral Surgeon in Ashford and St. Peters’ Hospital, Chertsey, where he has his own surgical and sedation lists. Additionally, he runs the Sedation clinics with Dr Nadia Raitchev (BSc, BDS Lond) at The Cherrytree Dental Care. Dr Nadia Raitchev also provides Sedation for routine dental care at the practice.

HOW TO REFER: Simply return to the practice the completed referral form, and a recent radiograph (ideally a DPT/OPG in the case of lower third molars) and our reception staff will contact the patient to arrange an appointment.

You may download our referral form directly from our website: www.cherrytreedentitry.co.uk or use the referral forms provided in this pack and send it via post. Emailed referrals must be accompanied by the original referral sent in the post within 48 hours’ of the referral email.

We will send the patient a written confirmation of their appointment, directions to our practice and a medical questionnaire to complete. Please provide an email address as most correspondence is done via email as we are mainly a paperless practice.

The patient will have an initial consultation with our dentist and then a suitable treatment appointment will be provided. Appointment times range from 30 minutes for simple extractions to 90 minutes for more complex cases. Dr Ivailo Raitchev is very happy to discuss particular needs or concerns with both patients and referring practitioners. On completion of treatment, all patients will be given post extraction advice and returned to your care with a written discharge summary.

Please contact us if a procedure is necessitated by a treatment failure and we will endeavor to assist you and prioritise assistance on the same day or within 24 hours’ of the procedure.
