Executive Director of Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education CEO of Hutchings College and Career Academy December 2012 – Present Bibb County School System - Macon, Georgia In this capacity, my responsibilities are as follows: prepare the consolidated application for CTAE; create annual operating plan that supports strategic goals and objectives set by the college and career academy governance board of directors; maintain all records required by the State Department (GaDOE) related to CTAE; process/approve requisitions for supplies and equipment purchases, professional leave requests, expense statements, field tips and inventory reports; build workforce culture by promoting positive working environments and exercising consistent values that reflect the organization’s mission; coordinate and support an active district CTAE advisory committee; work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure understanding of and to promote CTAE; assist in recruiting, screening and recommending candidates for teaching position in CTAE; Recommend the selection of instructional materials and equipment for the CTAE programs; direct and coordinate CTAE school budgets; update certified/classified personnel information data collection system each year in order to report all faculty and staff to GaDOE since CTAE funding is based on accuracy of report; prepare programs for Industry Certification to include bi-annual advisory committee meetings and active Career Technical Student Organizations; and work cooperatively with post-secondary partners to develop dual enrollment and articulation agreements.
