This fun-filled event has become a family favorite over the past several years, and this year should be every bit as fun. Join hundreds of families from the community as we dress in non-scary costumes, enjoy games, music, raffle prizes and great food.

You can sign up to enter your car as a Trunk or Treat stop and try to win the prize for best design or just enjoy strolling with your kids from trunk to trunk gathering sweet treats.

At Christ Journey we also want to encourage you to take opportunities to give back to the community, so be sure to bring canned food for the Feed Miami collection.

UNDAUNTED “Undaunted” was the theme of our Leader Rally sharpening our vision focus as we launch our new ministry year. Every leading ministry volunteer at Rally received a twofold reminder as we recommitted to serve Christ’s mission: a bullet on a key chain and a tag that read, “I am undaunted – doing what matters most, no matter the cost.”

BASECAMP FOR MEN HEAVYWEIGHT: Fighting for What Matters Most.

When do you stand up and fight? When do you live to fight another day? Most importantly, how do you fight the battles that matter most?

God, our creator, has placed a warrior’s heart within every man, yet many men today are willing to go down without a fight. God has equipped men to step into the arena of life to fight the “good fight” on behalf of their families, children, workplaces, communities and faith.

Sadly, too many men have stepped out of the ring instead of standing strong and courageous in the midst of so much cultural push.

Join other warriors willing to learn how to fight for what is right in a manner that honors God and transforms communities.

Our guest speaker will be Justin Davis, Senior Pastor of Hope City Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. You may recall he authored the book, “Extraordinary Marriages.” He and his wife Trisha were our guests two years ago at Married You Live. We had numerous requests to bring him back for such a timely topic for men.

I hope every man who attends Christ Journey Church will strap on some spiritual armor and come ready to win the battles that matter most.

A CELEBRATION INDEED Baptism – Some have described it as, a call from God, feeling Jesus in their heart, a love and peace that is lifting, an unexplainable joy and one of the most amazing experiences in their lifetime.

Jesus called his first followers to take up a cross and follow him. The cross was an instrument of violence and death. But following Him would be well worth their lives. In our culture, the bullet is seen as an instrument of violence and death, yet I heard a dad this week say “I’d take a bullet for my family.”

If you were baptized during this past ministry year, we want you to know that we have also felt incredible joy and honor to walk alongside you in taking the next step on your spiritual journey.

Some things in life are worth our very lives. It is my honor and privilege to be pursuing the heavenly vision of sharing God’s love with each of you, your families and friends on this amazing grace Christ Journey of ours!

This past year we celebrated life change with more than 100 individuals. Talk about celebrating in a big way. Praise God!

Baptism is a time to rejoice and celebrate with family and friends as you profess your faith in Christ publically and continue to walk on your beautiful journey with Him.
