Every Week! Are you a guest here at Christ Journey? Been visiting for 1, 2 or 3+ weeks? If you’re looking to connect just a little bit more and are willing to stay for a quick 15 minute meet and greet with our campus pastor then we invite you to join us in the connection cafe. No registration required! JUST SHOW UP! We look forward to meeting you.

We hold the meet and greet every week after both worship experiences.

Stay for a bit and see what the excitement is all about.

P.S. If you have kids, don’t worry...they are welcome to join you or you can feel free to leave your children in their classes until after the meet and greet is finished.

Once a month! Ready to take the next step and become a member of Christ Journey? Then StartUp is for you. It’s a new member orientation that will explain what being a member at Christ Journey is all about. We host the class once a month right here on the campus during the 1st worship experience at 10a. BAPTISM

The journey with Jesus leads to a public demonstration of your faith and we call that baptism. Being baptized is a celebration of your faith in Jesus and a willingness to share it with your world.

Those in need... our Christ Journey Church Food Pantry feeds over 38 families week to week. The pantry is open Mondays 9a-noon for our community. Are you in need? Worship + Arts = Ministry Christ Journey exists to help people find and follow Christ. The Worship Arts Ministry (friends call us W.A.M.) is an extension of that purpose and is on mission to win as many as possible as soon as possible by the most effective means possible.

What could God choose to do with a team who shows up with the confidence that God has something important to do through them? That’s what is possible for Worship Arts Ministry at Christ Journey - each weekend, those who serve and those who are being served have an encounter with God and are changed. We believe people (including kids!) grow best in community. For kids, this includes the communities they have at church and at home.

This is why we have carefully designed fun environments for babies through elementaryage kids and their parents.

Our caring volunteers give kids a solid understanding of the Bible and of how much God loves them. And for parents we provide tools that help them continue at home the conversations that start at church.

We have a Tiffany lamp in our home.

It’s a favorite of mine.

Its canopy shade is formed from broken bits of colored glass molded together.

At first glance it doesn’t look like much. But turn the light on and, voila. Its beauty charms me every time.

I love to leave that light on.

It speaks to me of Christian leadership. Paul wrote, “We have this treasure in jars of clay,” (2 Corinthians 4:7). Earthy vessels, easily broken. Yet God chooses to let His all-surpassing “light shine in our hearts”, revealing His glory through us. Now there’s a definition of Christ-like leadership: Yielding my brokenness to the tender care of God for the benefit of others.

I’m so thankful for every ministry leader, both staff and volunteer, at Christ Journey Church. I think God must love to leave those lights on.
