Helping people
WEEKEND
find and follow Christ.
FRONT AND CENTER
Thank you for choosing a seat to the front & center of the Auditorium when we come together to worship as a community. This helps your mind & heart remain engaged as others discreetly find open seating in the back once the experience has begun.
Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, we are excited to walk together with you. If you’re new, we’d like to give you a free gift, (no strings attached), just stop by a host station.
WE LOVE KIDS
From the earliest stages, we reinforce God’s truth in every child. Weekly, kids get involved in a wide range of exciting, creative, & age-appropriate environments. Music, drama, & storytelling capture the imagination & small groups help the Bible come alive in Discovery Land for preschoolers & Highway for elementary kids. For info, visit ChristJourney.org/Kids.

May is a BIG month for families and ministry at Christ Journey! Mother’s Day and Parent Dedication are always special. Then we have Memorial Day, the beginning of the end of the school year activities and on June 6, The Journey Awards! Of course, you’ll not want to miss Baptism on May 11 or Communion on May 25. And this month we are privileged to host a special installation ceremony for our member, Renato Santos, as he takes the mantle for his new position overseeing the Pastoral Care Services for Baptist Health System. Renato follows Chaplain Bob Jacoby, who recently retired after 36 years of service in that position. BHS, who co-hosts the Global Leadership Summit with Christ Journey, asked if we could hold the service here and we are happy to be of service. You are welcome to attend and offer your support to Renato on Tuesday, May 13, 4-6 pm.
THE SECOND ANNUAL
JOURNEY AWARDS You’ve heard of the Grammy’s, the Tony’s, and the Oscar’s. At Christ Journey, we have the Journey Awards!
One of the perks of being part of the volunteer force at our church is the opportunity to attend one of the most creative and commemorative events around here. Each year, we honor volunteers who possess the characteristics that build a healthy volunteer culture. We notice these in so many! Churchwide, there are qualities we desire to see in volunteers because we believe these are important to the heart of God. Everything we do is made possible first by Him, and second, by the hands of his people working together. So, if you’re a volunteer at Christ Journey, you won’t want to miss the second annual Journey Awards. Save the date: Friday, June 6. Each of you is worthy of high regard, and you have our gratitude and deep appreciation. More details to come soon!
