Helping people
WEEKEND
find and follow Christ.
FRONT AND CENTER
Thank you for choosing a seat toward the front and center of the Auditorium when we come together to worship as a community. This helps your mind and heart remain engaged as others discreetly find open seating in the back once the experience has begun.
Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, we are excited to walk together with you. If you’re new, we’d like to give you a free gift, (no strings attached), just stop by a host station.

Christ Journey Church
Not only do we get out on mission through City Serves and Global teams, Summer is the critical GIVE LOCAL campaign when we answer the call of Christ to give direct. Above and beyond our tithes, this special gift supports our domestic (Florida and US based) Journey Partners. Your special gifts this month and next go directly to support our partners as they work tirelessly 365 days a year. Their outreach includes: providing hundreds of children after school programs in the poorest zip codes of Dade County; giving families medical attention they would otherwise go without; a new start on life after being held captive by addictions and sex trafficking; supplying inmates Bibles and hope in jail; a new start for women with their children in rehabilitation; taking the promises of Christ to campuses and cities through teams and outreach; access to food and shelter for the homeless through ACCESS. Our partners count on this gift to make their programs work. For a complete list of our Journey Partners, and the missions and programs your money will go to, please go to ChristJourney.org/GoLocal.

Bill Hybels, Chairman of the Board “When God transforms the life of just one leader, that leader can transform a church. When one church is transformed, you can transform a community. And... eventually the entire world is affected with the positive, life-changing power of Jesus Christ and the restoring work of His people.” -Bill Hybels
At Christ Journey we celebrate
I was at a local café on a Sunday afternoon and saw this on the back of the t-shirt of one of the servers. (He didn’t mind when I asked if I could take a photo.) I love the feeling of security that comes from knowing someone’s “got my back”. On the other hand, it’s unnerving and disruptively disturbing to lose one’s “backbone”. It’s disheartening to be “backstabbed”, especially by someone you have trusted. May the days ahead be marked with our shared confidence in God and in each other as we persevere in doing His will and receiving what He has promised. “We are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved” (Hebrews 10:39).
SPIRITUAL GROWTH Our purpose is to help people find and follow Christ. Every step a person takes towards Christ-centered living is a step worth throwing a party for! Baptism is one of those steps. Each person who decides to take the plunge is making a public declaration of faith in Jesus. They’re telling the world, “I have found Jesus and I want to follow Him!” Have you taken that step?
