You know when you you’re with some friends and someone says, “I want to grab a bite to eat!” and everyone replies, “Me Too!” Or a time when your friend was sharing a difficult situation they were going through and you were there for them? As people, we all have a longing to be understood, to be connected, to care for one another and make meaningful memories. Where can you find that? Listen to what the first groups were like in the Bible: All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals, and to prayer. – Acts 2:42 It’s natural to identify with people, with their joys and sorrows, to want to be there for one another and that’s exactly where Groups come in. A group is where we can be around others, make friends and be there for each other in the good times and bad. That’s what you can expect from a Group at Christ Journey: fellowship!
