Dec. 23 & 24 A special Christmas adventure is planned during each Christmas Eve Worship Experience for all preschoolers (babies - Pre-K). Children will enjoy fun activities, music and a special nativity experience in large group.

CHANGES EVERYTHING!

Sure was true for my wife and me as we welcomed our firstborn home.

We knew something was up but had no clue as to the all inclusive transformation our lives would undergo as new parents. Now, we’re watching with delight as it happens to our firstborn with her firstborn son!

Are you tired of hearing me talk about my grandson? May I respectfully request you to “Get over it!” When we lived in Texas I learned the saying, “Every old crow thinks his little bird is blackest!” But now I believe I know what they meant. I’m so excited as I think about celebrating Christmas with our new little guy!

I wonder how our Heavenly Father feels as He comes to us in His Son, the firstborn over all creation, the truest Star of the celebration. I’m so excited as I think about us inviting our family and friends to join us for “Good News of Great Joy FOR ALL people”.

May each of us do as the shepherds did that first Christmas night as they “spread the word concerning what had been told them about the child” so others can share the joy!

Enmeshed in the abject poverty of Brazil’s favelas, Pete and Jodi Brennan deliver the hope of Christ. Elly Admiral works to keep 260 children alive and fed each day in Uganda. Out of the dump in Managua, Chris and Krista Farrington opened rescue homes and a school for children who are the poorest of the poor. In Cuba where the government makes all religion dangerous, our leaders quietly and consistently minister to a people desperate for the gospel.

And there’s so much more we could share… The hope and joy our global partners possess in the midst of such adversity is marvelous. They live by faith alone and survive by your gifts. Thanks for looking at what goes in our world and with our Journey Partners. Thanks for giving to them in this season of our Lord Jesus Christ through the Give Global campaign. It is really working!
