ORANGE SUNDAY SUNDAY, AUGUST 28 Orange Sunday is coming up! This is our big kick-off for the new ministry year. Preschoolers, kids and teens will be promoted to their new class or environment, see old friends and meet new volunteers that want to help them find and follow Christ.

This is also our time to partner with parents about their unique role in the life of their child or teen.

See, around here, we don’t just want kids to be excited as they grow in their faith. We want to inspire and equip parents to be the best they can be at leading their families. We call that Thinking Orange.

During Orange Sunday, you get to witness first hand how Orange can help your family experience a more vibrant and abundant life in Christ.

Aug. 20 Ocean Baptism – join us at Bill Baggs Park!

Aug. 24 Business Meeting – Discussion and decision will focus on the nominating slate of committee members and deacons for the new year, 2017 ministry budget proposal and important matters regarding the Sunset Drive project among others.

Aug. 28 Fall Launch Orange Sunday – all age and stages promote to their next grade level in Children and Student Ministry! We will also vote on the ministry budget in all Sunday worship experiences.

If you work in any kind of data management, then you know a good clean up is necessary from time to time. This is that time. Help us stay current for you, your family and your guests.

Here’s how to do it in three simple steps: 1. Use the Christ Journey App. 2. Find the Sunday tab and click “Log in” 3. Once you do that, click “update your profile” and make the necessary changes.
