This quotation is engraved on the National Archives building in Washington, D.C. But I believe its truth speaks clearly about Christ Journey Church. We have come this far borne on the wings of a glorious past. Year 2016 will mark our 90th birthday as a church body. But our best stories are yet to be told.

Our greatest days are yet to come. We are the church of the risen Lord Jesus Christ, who said, “I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.”

Our new ministry year is fast approaching with new beginnings coming on every hand. Let’s pray together that this will be among our greatest years yet! We are especially excited for our Kendall campus Grand Opening, coming August 30.

As the summer winds down, Family Ministry is gearing up with exciting class or environment, see old friends and meet new volunteers who want to help them find and follow Christ. This is also our time to partner with parents and talk about the unique role they play in the life of their child or teen. See, around here (or at Christ Journey), we don’t just want kids to be excited as they grow in their faith. We want to inspire and equip parents to be the best they can be at leading their families. We call that, Thinking Orange. Come on Orange Sunday to see first hand how Orange can help your family experience a more vibrant and abundant life in Christ.
