Our April teaching series unpacks the meaning and impact of Jesus’ resurrection in pursuit of the“larger than this life” experience God desires for every one of us. When the world speaks of “living large” it usually refers to large amounts of money, big houses, expensive cars, grown up toys and travel plans. It usually requires wealth. Yet no matter how large we live, we’re still earthbound with one foot in the grave. As someone said, “When the game is over, it all goes back in the box.” In Jesus’ resurrection, God invites us to think outside the box. He introduces us to a whole new quality of life the New Testament describes with words like “greater than” and “immeasurably more,” that “no eye has seen, no ear has heard.” It’s life of an eternal quality that we can begin to experience now, and not even death can take away. Learn to live larger with us in these messages: Jesus’ Resurrection Means…, Heaven Now, Signs of His Coming, Don’t be Rudely Awakened, How Shall We Live?

AT CHRIST JOURNEY. I love the way we love and care for children and teens! I love how our caring volunteers and staff go above and beyond to show kindness, share joy and truth with moms, dads, infants, crawlers, toddlers, kids, and all our young people. I love how we think young at our church! I love how we partner to do life together in building happier homes! In a world at war where crime and rage are constantly making news, what a relief it is to be a part of waging peace. Peace is our elementary virtue this month and we define it as “Proving you care more about each other than about winning an argument”. I know that’s important at my house. I imagine it might be at yours, too. My prayers are with all our families, first time guest and regular attender alike, that allow us to partner together to help the next generation to find and follow Christ! Your Pastor,
