God loves the city. Jesus wept over his city. You can find the word “city” over 1250 times in the Bible. But can you meet God there? in yours?

“Pray for and seek the peace and prosperity of the city, for as it prospers, so will you” says the Lord (Jeremiah 29).

Those in need...Our Christ Journey Church Food Pantry feeds over 38 families week to week. The pantry is open Mondays 9a-noon for our community. Are you in need? There is no greater work than the work of God’s kingdom. There is no higher purpose than sharing God’s glory, grace and truth in our place and time. The “Church” of Jesus was born for this. But the church is NOT buildings and programs or institutions run by clergy and staff. The “Church” is the body of Christ – imperfect people in whom Christ lives and through whom Christ unleashes His kingdom in our world.

In March we celebrated how far we’ve come. We dedicated ourselves anew to God and where he’s taking us forward. This month we embrace our mission field – Miami and the nearly 150 nations of the world represented here. I’m so excited to share with you what God has in store!

Last year alone over $1,000,000 in actual dollars/conservative value of gifts in kind were given, 290,000 meals were provided, 120 people traveled to another country and 683 volunteers served in Miami to offer hope to the poorest of those in our city and around the world.
