WEEKEND
find and follow Christ.
FRONT AND CENTER Thank you for choosing a seat to the front and center of the Worship Center when we come together to worship as a community. This helps your mind and heart remain engaged as others discreetly find open seating in the back once the service has begun.
Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, we are excited to walk together with you. If you’re new, we’d like to give you a free gift, (no strings attached), just stop by a host station.

In 1900 ten percent of the world’s population was urban. By 2005 it grew to more than fifty percent. Miami is now the eighth largest metropolitan area in the U.S. and poised to be a world class leader in a global future. God loves the city. Jesus wept over his city. You can find the word “city” over 1250 times in the Bible. But can you meet God there? in yours? “Pray for and seek the peace and prosperity of the city, for as it prospers, so will you” says the Lord (Jeremiah 29). In our new series we are doing just that. Check out the MIAMI message series beginning April 6-7. Mark your calendar and show your mom some love by bringing her to our Mother’s Day weekend worship experience May 11/12.

...of people whose faith moves us into the impossible. It is not so much the case that God has a mission for his church in the world, as that God has a church for his mission in the world. -Christopher Wright
There is no greater work than the work of God’s kingdom. There is no higher purpose than sharing God’s glory, grace and truth in our place and time. The “Church” of Jesus was born for this. But the church is NOT buildings and programs or institutions run by clergy and staff. The “Church” is the body of Christ – imperfect people in whom Christ lives and through whom Christ unleashes His kingdom in our world. In March we celebrated how far we’ve come. We dedicated ourselves anew to God and where he’s taking us forward. This month we embrace our mission field – Miami and the nearly 150 nations of the world represented here. I’m so excited to share with you what God has in store! His and yours for Shalom in the City,
Bill White Senior Pastor
Last year alone over $1,000,000 in actual dollars/conservative value of gifts in kind were given, 290,000 meals were provided, 120 people traveled to another country and 683 volunteers served in Miami to offer hope to the poorest of those in our city and around the world. Find out more at ChristJourney.org/Missions Today you can join in on the impossible by donating used eye glasses with our team of doctors and dentists going to Nicaragua. These items can be dropped off in our missions office or missions drop boxes in the breezeway next to the main office.
