Christina Propst, MD, has dedicated more than 25 years to the practice of General Pediatrics in Houston, Texas. A first-generation American born in New York City to immigrant parents, Dr Christina Propst grew up bilingual in German and English Her formative years at Horace Mann School reflected her strong academic and leadership qualities. She graduated Cum Laude, participated as a varsity track and cross-country runner, was elected senior co-captain, and served as president of the orchestra and a leader in the choir.

She was admitted early to Princeton University, where she majored in Politics while completing pre-medical requirements. Graduating Cum Laude in 1991, she combined academic rigor with extracurricular leadership Following her acceptance to Princeton, she was accepted into the competitive Princeton-in-Asia program, where she spent two years in Machida, Japan, teaching English. During this period, she traveled widely, studied Japanese, and immersed herself in the culture and traditions of the region

Christina Propst, Houston, chose Tulane University School of Medicine for her medical training She graduated in 1998 as a member of the top 5% of her class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society Her dedication earned her several student awards in pediatrics She matched into her first-choice residency in Pediatrics at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine within the Texas Medical Center, Houston.
