Rae Lamothe splits her time between her Employment Law practice and a Healthcare practice.
She counsels both employers and employees on protecting their rights in disputes over wage and hour claims, as well as employment discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims.
Rae also advises businesses on a wide range of topics, including employee policies/handbooks, wage and hour requirements, sexual harassment/discrimination prevention, employment contracts, business formation and contract drafting.
On the healthcare side, Rae represents physicians and other healthcare professionals in administrative proceedings, arbitrations, litigation, and appeals in various matters such as discrimination, sexual harassment, peer review, Medical Board of California investigations and accusations, partnership disputes, credentialing, staff privileges, and employment claims.
Rae is the 2021-2022 Chair of LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce. She also is past president of the California Academy of Attorneys for Health Care Professionals. Marsha Wietecha was born and raised in Westchester. Her roots grow deep in this community. While her children were in the local schools, she was an active member in the PTA, Scouts, and Little League.
Once the kids were off to college, she went back to work, starting part-time and then as a full-time Director of Membership and Healthy Lifestyles at the Westchester Family YMCA. Sadly, Marsha’s husband Butch passed away unexpectedly 12 years ago.
If you met Marsha, you would know instantly that she loves to talk. That desire to have a conversation resulted in the weekly, live, Born To Talk Radio Show six years ago. What was once an in-studio show turned into a podcast three years ago. Marsha’s tag line says it all, Conversations + Connections = Community. She is known to ask, everyone she meets, “What’s Your Story?” Marsha has been a member of the Chamber for three years and supports all the businesses and the experiences they bring to our community.
