2. EBB& FLOW

Ebb & Flow is a floating ”social- interaction” pavilion located at the heart of the University of Miami campus, Lake Osceola. Inspired by the functional and aesthetic value of corals, and the modular approach ikea has,the pavilion intends to accommodate student interaction in the network of interwoven nets and wood members above, as well as create a habitat for the wildlife below. Ebb & Flow is intended to be a University of Miami student and faculty initiative. Minimal building materials and tools are required to put the pavilion together, as a result, this allows for greater accessibility to volunteer.

The pavilion is intended to be accessible to anyone, encouraging volunteers. This is achieved through the use of modular labelled components. As a result, the paviliion can be prefabricated and multiplied
