It didn’t take long. Soon after the death of Joshua, the Israelites’ courageous leader, the people quickly slide away from God. The result is trouble, misery and oppression by enemies while living in the Promised Land. But when the people of Israel call out for help, God graciously raises up judges over and over again to deliver them. Join us this summer as we look at these ordinary, flawed leaders chosen by God to demonstrate His power, His faithfulness and His amazing grace. These surprising stories have much to teach us — not only about God, but ourselves as well!
We are jumping into Judges this summer! And we are excited to offer you in-person community for our five-week summer Women in the Word series. Join us every week as we share a discussion time around our tables and a message from our Women in the Word teaching team together. The setting is casual, the atmosphere friendly and the Scriptures encouraging as we gather and are reminded of God’s amazing grace. We can’t wait to see you for Summer Women in the Word beginning Wednesday, May 26 at the West Campus and Thursday, May 27 at the Fort Worth and South Campuses.
