Hey, Ambassador Fans! Game days are right around the corner! Here’s what you need to know: Adult tickets are $7, NCS students get in free, and the CPass is your season ticket for NCS home games. You can purchase your tickets online through the ticket link before the game or purchase them at the gate! Ticket Link As members of the Ambassador family, let’s make every game day a positive reflection of Christ by encouraging our student-athletes, respecting coaches, officials, and opponents, and showing humility, integrity, and good sportsmanship. *Volunteer Signups Fall volunteer sign ups are now available! Ambassador parents and students can reserve their spots today. Thank you for serving our Ambassador family! Your time makes a difference and helps support our student athletes, coaches, and the Norfolk Christian community. A few reminders: Varsity student athletes must complete one volunteer shift during their season. JV student athletes in grades 9 and 10 earning PE credit must also complete one volunteer shift. All Norfolk Christian high school students must complete 20 community service hours each year. Get your volunteer hours done early and check one more thing off your list! Open to all High School athletes, our student-led Huddle is a unique environment where athletes strengthen their faith while challenging and encouraging one another. Athletes from all sports find accountability, support, and genuine friendships. We fellowship together, hear from awesome speakers, and prepare each other to train and compete as Christ’s Ambassadors. We also have great social events and community service opportunities throughout the year! Join us on Thursday mornings from 7:20 to 7:50 a.m. in the Athletic Wing entrance. Breakfast is provided! If you are able to provide breakfast, or donate towards it, please sign up here. Ava Holmes had a standout week for the Ambassadors, recording 9 kills against StoneBridge before putting down 23 kills against Isle of Wight Academy. Shekinah Anderson added 6 kills against StoneBridge and 13 kills against Isle of Wight Academy, while Olivia Hannah finished with 41 assists against Isle of Wight Academy. A strong week for the Varsity Girls Volleyball team as they continue to build momentum early in the season! The JV Girls Volleyball team secured a big win over Isle of Wight Academy! Molly Key led the offense with 15 assists, while Gabby Newson added 7 kills and Natalie Ferguson contributed 6 kills and 9 digs. Jane Alexander anchored the defense with 16 digs. Great team effort from the Ambassadors!
*Last Week's Highlights!
The Varsity Boys Soccer team had a strong week, going 2-0! The Ambassadors opened the week with a 3-0 victory over StoneBridge. James Launi scored the first goal of the season off a beautiful assist from Jake Gispert, followed by goals from Maris Milosevic and Harrison Shaffer, who converted from the penalty spot. The defense held strong to secure a well-earned clean sheet. The Ambassadors then defeated Covenant Classical 3-2, with Jake Gispert scoring twice, both assisted by Jason Boyd. In the second half, Boyd assisted Gispert on the game-winning goal. A fantastic week for Varsity Boys Soccer! Christian Football Club opened the season with a strong 28-20 victory over ESC Bucks! Evan Field and Gabriel Van Zummeren each found the end zone twice on rushing touchdowns, while Thomas Hines and Harrison Shaffer came up with interceptions on the defensive side of the ball. A great start to the season for Christian Football Club!
