WELCOME FROM THE ORGANISERS

The Aquis Champions Tour has now cemented its position as one of Australia’s premier show jumping events. Along the way we have collected a host of awards, including recently receiving our third consecutive Equestrian Queensland Event of the Year. The awards are a testament to the commitment and dedication of everyone involved in bringing the event to fruition. Each year we aim to improve the event for competitors, spectators and our sponsors. In 2019, we will host more than 400 of Australia’s best show jumpers competing for more than $340,000 in prize money over nine days of competition, culminating with the $130,000 Horsepower Gold Tour final. With the largest prize money pool offered in Australia and an internationally designed course to challenge even the best of

Australia’s show jumpers, the scene has been set for some of the most spectacular show jumping Australia has seen. As every day of competition is live streamed to a global audience, spectators are not limited by geographical location. The Aquis Champions Tour is s a familyoriented event drawing people from beyond the professional show jumping fraternity with spectators from all walks of life, including horse breeders, racehorse owners and trainers, the local community, corporate guests and local businesses. With over 40 trade and food stalls for competitors and spectators to explore there will also be plenty of action outside the arenas. We wish you all the best for the days ahead and safe riding.

AQUIS FARM BREEDS SUCCESS In just four years, Aquis has emerged as one of Australia’s most successful and respected thoroughbred breeding and racing outfits with a strong commitment to horse welfare and building successful partnerships with the industry’s top owners and trainers.

Building on its Queensland success, in 2017 Aquis embarked on a new era, taking over the management of the historic Emirates Park property in Murrurundi, New South Wales. Aquis plans to continue the property’s proud history and creating a new chapter of success.

Established in 2015, following Hong Kong based investment banker Mr Fung’s purchase of the Wadham Park Racing facility at Canungra, the company expanded rapidly to become one of Queensland’s largest and finest integrated racing and breeding operations. Aquis has taken a particular interest in supporting the Queensland racing industry by standing a diverse roster of high quality stallions to help grow the industry.

Aquis controls nearly 2,000ha of high quality properties across two states, managing more than 400 broodmares and 200 horses in training. In 2019, the stud is to stand 13 stallions across its two properties. Aquis’ strategy to partner with a wide range of owners and trainers has delivered strong success on the track with the company on track to secure a new stable record of nearly 100 winners in the current season.
