ABOUT SOUTH RIBBLE LIVE 2026 PENWORTHAM
Thank you for supporting our weekend of live music and entertainment at this year’s Penwortham Live.
We’ve got 136 performances across 17 venues in Penwortham on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 May.
The much-loved event, organised jointly by South Ribble Borough Council and the Creative Network, will feature performances from 7pm in each venue lasting 45 minutes with a 15-minute changeover in between sets. People will be able to come and go as they like in any of the venues.
Wristbands will be required for entry to the event, which cost £6, and gets you into every venue, on both nights. Under 12s go free and do not need a wristband – there are certain venues, due to their licensing conditions, that children won’t be allowed into. This information will be included at the top of each venue page.
Bringing the highest-quality events to South Ribble
We know South Ribble is a vibrant and exciting place, jam packed full of incredible night-time venues and creative artists ready to take the borough by storm! Our South Ribble Live events showcase the very best of South Ribble and allows our night-time economy to keep on thriving. It’s a great weekend out for our residents, but our venues, people and entertainment acts also draw in many visitors from further afield which gives us a great boost in our local economy that benefits everyone!

There are a wide variety of acts, ranging from rock and soul bands to guitarists, ska groups, indie, pop, dance groups and singers. All the information for venue locations, performance details, including timings can be found in this programme.
Each venue page has a QR code on for you to locate the venue using a smart device. Any last-minute changes can be found on the website at discoversouthribble.co.uk/live
THE CREATIVE NETWORK

The Creative Network* and South Ribble Council have worked together to deliver this festival since 2013, and we are proud of what we’ve achieved. Last year was a fantastic success with over 10,000 people attending the festival.
