CELEBRATING CHORLEY BY NIGHT

ABOUT CHORLEY LIVE 2025 Thank you for supporting our award winning weekend of live music and entertainment – Chorley Live – which is back for its eleventh year!

We’ve got almost 280 performances across 35 venues in the town centre on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 October.

The format of the event, organised jointly by Chorley Council and the Creative Network, will feature performances at 7pm, 8pm, 9pm and 10pm in each venue lasting 45 minutes with a 15 minute changeover. People will be able to come and go as they like in any of the venues.

Entry to the venues will be via a wristband that costs £6 and this gets you into every venue over both nights. Under 12s are free and don’t need a wristband – there are certain venues, due to their licensing conditions, that children won’t be allowed into but this information will be included on each venue page.

The aims of the event are:

• To establish an annual creative arts festival in Chorley that helps support the night time economy and local businesses • Attract visitors who don’t live in the Chorley area or who don’t regard Chorley as a leisure destination • Improve Chorley’s offer of live entertainment for local residents • Encourage local businesses and organisations to see live entertainment as part of their business model • Help grow the creative community in the area – increasing the number and quality of acts available for live entertainment The types of performances will be a wide variety ranging from rock and soul bands to guitarists, drumming groups, dance groups and singers.
