December 2025
Greetings, handbell and handchime enthusiasts.
We at Choristers Guild wish each of you a most blessed holiday season as you prepare for concerts and special services.
The new year is just around the corner. We hope this presentation of our releases for Spring 2026 will be helpful when you plan for the coming year. Our new releases include music for Lent, Palm Sunday, Easter, and Pentecost. Whether you are looking for music for a beginning or an advanced group, or anywhere in between, we believe there is something here for you.
A number of titles are available for both 2-3 and 3-5(6) octave groups. In addition to being great resources for massed-ringing events, our “compatible edition” publications are very useful because of their voicing options. Whether you work with a 2, 3, 4, or 5 octave group we have you covered!
Featured on the opposite page is the reproducible collection, Gifts of Grace Karen Buckwalter has creatively arranged three selections to be rung by a small group of four or five ringers with piano. These flexible arrangements also include options for adding additional ringers. Karen has provided additional treble and bass parts that can be added depending on the number of ringers that may be available. In case you missed it earlier, be sure to explore this amazing resource.
If you are affiliated with an advanced community group, be sure to check out Classics Attack arranged by Michael Glasgow, Jubilation and Reflection by Cathy Moklebust, and Seascapes by Karen L. Buckwalter.
All best wishes for a new year filled with hope, peace, and an abundance of joyful ringing.

Gifts of Grace
Flexible handbell arrangements for 4-5 ringers or 2-3 octave ensembles and piano
Arranged by
Karen L. Buckwalter
Creatively arranged by Karen L. Buckwalter
Gifts of Grace is a unique reproducible collection of three hymn tunes: Lasst Uns Erfreuen, Land of Rest and the Spanish hymn tune, Somos Del Señor
Each arrangement has 3 separate lines of music which may be combined in a variety of ways depending on the number of ringers available. Part 2 is always the essential part and requires 4-5 ringers. If you have 6-9 ringers you will be able to add Parts 1 or 3. (Part 1 is also playable on a bell tree.) If you have 10-11 ringers you will be able to ring each tune as a 2-3 octave arrangement.
We all need flexibility in our handbell ministries and these well-crafted compositions will be a great addition to your library!
