Backwater Jack adds a new and exciting outcross set of genetics into the WC breeding program. He is sired by the $92,000 outcross PVF Ridge and out of the one-half interest $49,000 Dory, whose progeny are making a name for themselves across the United States. Backwater Jack made quite an impression on Charolais breeders from across the nation when he showed up at the 2021 National Show in Oklahoma City. First, he was the lead off bull in the WIA Pen-of-Three Pen Show and was selected the Grand Champion Pen. Later that afternoon a one-half interest in him sold for $30,000 in the National Sale. The next morning, he was tabbed the National Champion Bull at nine months of age! Now his progeny are proving all these honors to be justified!

• This Jack son also comes out of a stellar cow family. His donor produced the $37,000 WC Kourtney 5282 that topped the Wright Female Sale in 2015. She ended up being the 2015-16 AICA Show Heifer of the Year! Kourtney has already produced four sons that have sold for $9,750, $10,000, $13,500 and $16,000.
