CISabroad Digital Storyteller Scholarship This award is given to students who are ready to get creative and tell their story to the world! While abroad, recipients will use a variety of channels (video, travel vlogging, blogging, photos) to tell their personal story of studying or interning abroad, in addition to submitting a photo testimonial.
CISABROAD GRANTS CISabroad CPA (Cooperating Partner Alliance) Grant If your school is an affiliate of CISabroad, you may automatically receive a $250 grant for a semester program or a $100 grant for a summer or short-term program. Contact an advisor today to find out if you qualify!

While CISabroad program fees are part of what you will spend during your time studying or interning abroad, there are other expenses that you will want to know about when you budget for your abroad experience. We aim to widen the diversity of our community of interns and students abroad and foster equity in access to these experiences. We invite STEM majors, first-generation college students, students from multicultural backgrounds, and people with disabilities to apply. Recipients will select from a variety of mediums to share their story while abroad, in addition to submitting a photo testimonial. Amount awarded: $100-$250 CISabroad Gives Back Scholarship This award is intended for students who find themselves volunteering in their community, whether at home or abroad. are interested in or have an academic This scholarship is ideal for students with an interest in sustainability, community development, or ecological conservation. Recipients will take part in an Instagram takeover, as well as provide content for other CISabroad social platforms, like videos, travel vlogs, and blogs, in addition to a photo testimonial. Amount awarded: $100-$250 CISabroad Wanderlust Scholarship This scholarship is intended for students who are among the first from their U.S. university to go abroad on any CISabroad program. Recipients will share their story of wanderlust and exploration while abroad with a photo gallery and their choice of travel vlog, blogging, or an Instagram takeover. Amount awarded: $100-$250
CISabroad Go Again Grant Can’t wait to go abroad again? Go on another CISabroad program and you’ll receive a $250 grant for a semester program or a $100 grant for a summer program. CISabroad Diversity Abroad Grant, CISabroad Gilman Grant, CISabroad Golden Key Grant If you receive a Diversity Abroad scholarship, Gilman Grant, or Golden Key Award for your CISabroad program, we’ll give you an additional $500 grant for a semester-long program or $250 for a short-term program, just to say CONGRATULATIONS! Please notify your program coordinator after you are notified of your award. Proof of the award is required.
