ABOUT CISABROAD CISabroad is an international study and intern abroad organization. Since 2000, we have been working with college and university students who want to experience living and learning in another culture. Every day at CISabroad, we strive to live up to our founding philosophy: to provide innovative education programs that foster academic, cultural, and personal development and lay the foundation for our participants to become engaged global citizens. Our Cooperating Partner Alliance (CPA) is an agreement between your institution and CISabroad that allows us to become an additional study abroad resource for your office, while also giving your students certain financial and service benefits. We believe it’s a “win-win” situation for all parties involved.
Your commitment to being a CPA member doesn’t bind you to any set number of students you must refer, and there are no fees associated with our CPA program. You’ll get the same responsive service from us, whether you send one student per year or ten students per semester.
STUDENT BENEFITS Access to CISabroad’s CPA Grant Program: $250 grant for each CISabroad semester student $100 grant for each CISabroad summer or internship student First class service from start to finish! Live pre-departure orientations, either in person or online
CPA INSTITUTIONAL BENEFITS Support of your office through annual campus visits, provision of promotional materials, and access to resources Access to our CPA Grant program, detailed to the left Site visits to your office, including updates on student applications and access to partner university webinars for advisors and students Access to the CPA Professional Development Grant program to help further your own professional goals

GENERATION STUDY ABROAD
As study abroad participation continues to grow, there’s a corresponding increase in variety – in program offerings, in student backgrounds, and in academic requirements. CISabroad’s Cooperating Partner Alliance was formed with these challenges in mind. Our CPA program is designed to complement, not compete, with your existing study abroad opportunities. Becoming a member of our affiliate program allows you to expand your list of existing study abroad programs and services to accommodate your students’ interests, budgets, and personal preferences.
CISabroad joined the Institute of International Education’s Generation Study Abroad initiative to help more Americans gain international experience through study abroad programs. As a commitment partner, CISabroad has pledged to increase knowledge about and access to education abroad for our LGBTQIA+ students. By promoting study abroad on your campus, partnering with your office on initiatives such as curriculum mapping and custom program development, and providing resources to help get underrepresented populations abroad, CISabroad can be a powerful resource to help you reach your Generation Study Abroad pledge target!
