BeginninginSeptember2025,theSaintThomasChoirSchool(STCS)willpartnerwith ProfessionalChildren'sSchool(PCS)toofferanunparalleled,music-centerededucationinthe heartofManhattan.TheSaintThomasChoristerswillformasignificantcohortwithinthePCS middleschoolstudentbody.
Theboychoristers,comprisinggrades4through8,willcontinuetoliveatSTCS,immersing themselvesinintensivemusicaltraininginacaringandfamilialenvironment.Theywillsingin anaverageoffiveservicesperweekatSaintThomasChurchaspartoftheworld-famousChoir ofMenandBoysandperforminthe Concerts at Saint Thomas series,enrichingtheirspiritual andartisticlives.Thisuniqueexperiencefostersnotonlyexceptionalmusicalskillsbutalsoa sharedsenseofpurposeandlifelongfriendships.
Complementingtheirmusicalandspiritualformation,theboychoristerswillbeformally enrolledatPCS,aninstitutionwithalongstandingtraditionofacademicexcellenceandadeep commitmenttosupportingtheperformingarts.AtPCS,theywilljoinavibrantcommunityof peersdedicatedtoexcellenceacrossvariousartisticandsportingdisciplines,furtherenriching theireducationalexperience.AnaveragedaywillincludeseveralhoursatPCSforcore academics,withremainingtimebasedatSTCSengagedinchoristerlife,whichwillinclude continuedstudiesinLatin,health,theology,musicalstudies,aswellasweeklyprivatemusic lessons,sports,andrecreationalactivities.
