Fayre at Holy Rood Church on Saturday 25th November, 10.00 am - 12 noon. This is an opportunity to start your Christmas shopping. There will be gifts, jig saws, books, toys, cakes, bric-a-brac and a raffle. Refreshments will be available. Admission is 30p.
STUBBINGTON & HILL HEAD WI
Will meet on Wednesday 29th November 2pm at Baptist Church, Jay Close, Cuckoo Ln, Stubbington, PO14 3TA. Our speaker will be Debbie Towlson entertaining us with a cookery demonstration using chocolate! We have a monthly Lunch Club in addition to a Book Club, outings, theatre trips, picnics, Summer and Christmas lunches. We also participate in WI Group activities such as quizzes, skittles and day trips. We are a very friendly group and visitors are always warmly welcomed, so if you have just retired and wish to make new friends, come along and try us out! You will be met and looked after by one of our friendly greeters, who will introduce you to other Members. Visitors can come for two taster meetings before joining.

Stubbington Stamp Club
Meet 11am on the first and third Saturdays of each month At The Crofton Club, Titchfield Road, Stubbington. Meetings have a strong social element. Come and share your interest and specialisation with others of like mind: there is an occasional quiz and mini presentations. Everyone of any age, beginner or knowledgeable, is welcome. Meet in the Methodist Church Hall on the second Thursday of each month at 7.30pm. We are a friendly group who enjoy a variety of speakers or demonstrations of activities. We also have a good social calendar of activities which members can join in with, such as Games Morning, Natter Knit and Stitch group, Lee Stroll, Craft group, darts and a book club. Crofton Probus Club
Lunch Meeting last Wednesday of the month. A social “club” for retired and semi-retired professional/businessmen who meet monthly for lunch, 12noon, for 12:30, at Lee-on-the-Solent Golf Club. Followed by a speaker. For a recent lunch meeting representatives of a local school informed the diners that some poorer children, exacerbated by current events, were potentially unable to experience educational visits; for which a Club donation and a members table collection was made. Missing the camaraderie and social contact of a career environment?

CHURCH) Services are at 9.30am every Sunday. The 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month is Holy Communion (BCP) and the 2nd and 4th Sunday is Morning Service. Coffee is served after the Morning Services. Meet every Friday in the Foster Room, (next to Holyrood Church) 2-4pm. We make many lovely knitted gifts and craft items which we sell or give to local Hampshire charities. We have a wide variety of Christmas decorations, and Gifts to delight all ages. There are many knitted garments and baby blankets too. There are hand made bags of all shapes and sizes, suitable for gift bags, or shopping bags, which fold up in your handbag. So why not come and see what we have at our next sales are in Stubbington Library on 4th November 9.30am to 12pm. St. Columba’s Church on 25th November 10am to 12pm. thank everyone who knit for us, or provides equipment or donates wool, material etc for us to use. You are all amazing.
