Sun​Yield®, A STANDARD INCLUSION

ON YOUR NEW INVESTMENT PROPERTY TRACK YOUR INVESTMENT ON YOUR PHONE The SunYield® App allows landlords to monitor their investment in real time. For landlords with multiple investment properties, there is a portfolio view that shows all your SunYield® Systems and how they are performing.

Tenants who rent a home equipped with SunYield® will also be able to monitor their power usage on a smartphone via the SunYield® app in real time.

HOW SunYield® WORKS

Two ways to sell power:

Landlord is paid for all solar used by tenant and exported to Grid

Tenant wishes to use solar Tenant does not wish to use solar

All solar generated is exported to Grid (Base rate)

All solar is sent to Tenant (Premium rate)

TENANT Excess solar sent to Grid (Base rate)

Landlord Account Setup - After handover from your builder, a Landlord Account will be set up in your name with our partner energy provider, Powershop.

This is a one-time setup for the ongoing management of your SunYield® system, no matter how many times new tenants move in.

Electricity Rates - There are two different rates paid for your solar power.

Premium is for solar used by your tenant.

Base is for excess solar that is not used by the tenant and exported to the grid

Tenant Account Setup - If a new tenant chooses Powershop as their energy provider they will get access to SunYield meaning they will receive a discounted rate for the power they use from the solar panels.

In this case the tenant will have a Powershop account and recieve a monthly power bill for all usage (grid and solar).

If the tenant does not wish to use the solar, they may go with another energy provider.

In this scenario, all solar generated will be exported to the grid at the Base rate.

Payment to Landlord - As the landlord, you will receive a monthly payment.
