Virginia TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) provides children and teens with intellectual, emotional, or physical disabilities across the Commonwealth the opportunity to experience soccer in a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive environment. Through VYSA-affiliated TOPSoccer programs, trained coaches and volunteers create fun and engaging activities that promote player development, confidence, teamwork, friendships, and a love of the game. Sessions are adapted to meet each athlete’s unique needs and abilities, giving every player the opportunity to participate, learn, and enjoy soccer in a way that works for them. No prior soccer experience is necessary! Looking for a meaningful way to get involved in your soccer community? Become a TOPSoccer volunteer! Volunteers can serve as coaches or buddies, or assist with program activities. Buddies work directly with players to provide encouragement, support, and a helping hand on the field. Whether you have years of soccer experience or simply want to make a difference, there is an opportunity for you to be part of the TOPSoccer community. Volunteering with TOPSoccer is a great way to share your love of the game, build connections, and help create a positive soccer experience for athletes of all abilities.
