Los Berrocales is just one more speculative project that is part of this model of city, a landscape that will soon be irreversibly filled by concrete. other developments such as Los Ahijones, Los Cerros, and Valdecarros will follow, in total more than 105,000 new homes. together with the unfinished neighbourhoods already built they add up to 70 million square metres built, and represent the total exhaustion of available free land in the south-east of Madrid.
