Kick and Chips!

We visit the excellent Andy’s Fish Bar after Super Blues Win!

Many of you know I share my passion of fish and chips with my beloved Ipswich Town FC. Last season we visited the home of Derby County FC at Pride Park. After a very unsatisfactory meal at Frankie and Benny’s we headed to the match. Two fine strikes from Conor Chaplin and on loan George Hirst sealed all three points for town so we headed home happy.

The day was to get even better. High on my list of fish and chip shops to visit was Andy’s Fish Bar at Gresley, just a few miles away from the game itself. Chris invited me to take a tour around and was there to welcome us when we arrived.

Chris and Elena have been the proud owners of the award-winning Andy’s Fish Bar in Church Gresley since 2008. They are the 3rd family members to take the reins of the family run business that was established in 1977 by Andy Constantinou.

After having a complete refurbishment in February 2017 and now offering an eatin service, the shop is looking incredible! I would advise anyone in the industry to pay Chris and the team a visit. They have done everything you need to present a vibrant well ran takeaway.
