Our junior members were treated to an action-packed CSC-LJE Sports March Holiday Basketball Camp held on 13 to 15 March 2023. The camp was not just about individual skill development. It also provided the opportunity for them to learn about teamwork through friendly matches and challenges, fostering a sense of camaraderie and cooperation.

Chinese Swimming Club & LJE Sports organised the Juniors 3x3 Interclass Basketball Tournament on 2 April 2023. Participants honed their skills, showcasing their energetic dribbling, passes and shooting prowess.

Honorary Member Aloysius Yapp had a wonderful season playing in various international competitions against world’s top-ranking players. Congratulations Aloysius! Your dedication and hard work have paid off.

Our Bowling section members had a blast during the bi-monthly medal held on 26 March and 28 May at the 12 Lanes Bowling Alley. The bowlers showcased their bowling prowess with their skills, precision and teamwork.

Our Club hosted week 3 of the 26th Inter-Club Bowling Mixed League on 27 April 2023. The bowlers brought their A-game and aimed for strikes and spares. This competition also offered the opportunity for participants from the various clubs to network and share their passion for the sport.

The Contract Bridge section held the May Day Game on 29 April 2023. The players honed their strategic teamwork with their partners and bidding skills and focused on their card play to avoid unforced errors.

The Golf March Medal took place at Senibong Golf Club in Malaysia, Johor on 29 March 2023. The 25 golfers faced a meticulous course that tested their skills, and strategies, from the opening tee shot to the final putt.

The CSC Golf April Medal was held from 25 and 26 April 2023. 18 golfers participated in the April Medal game at Batam Hills Golf Resort and a friendly golf game at Southlink Country Club before returning to Singapore. Such events foster a vital role in fostering a welcoming golfing environment and encouraging more members to engage in the game.

Congratulations to our member, Pang Hian Tee for achieving third place in the Asia Pickleball Open 2023, Men’s 50+ Open Doubles Category held at Thanyapura Sports & Health Resort in Phuket, Thailand on 16 March 2023. We can’t wait to see what you can accomplish next!

Pang Hian Tee is currently ranked Number 1 in Singapore for the Men’s 50+ Doubles which he and his partner were the Champions for the Singapore Pickleball Open 2023 Senior Men’s Doubles Category held from 8 to 12 April 2023. He has consistently displayed formidable skills, with remarkable coordination and quick reflexes. Congratulations, Hian Tee!

Our junior participants enjoyed themselves during the three-day March Holiday Squash Camp held from 13 to 15 March 2023. It focused on training, which helped them develop and refine their squash skills, including technique, footwork, strategy and game tactics. While the camp focused on sharpening their skills, the junior participants also had fun forging friendships with other

hinese Swimming Club came in second in the WTT Singapore Smash Radin Mas CSN Challenge 2023 on 26 February 2023. The second-place finish was a testament to the team’s hard work and perseverance. It was great teamwork & achievement by the team!

The junior members participated in the four-day holiday camp held from 13 to 16 March 2023. The camp provided a nurturing environment for participants to learn and develop their skills, from basic strokes to footwork under the guidance of experienced coaches and mentors. Besides the technical aspects of table tennis, the participants also learnt about sportsmanship and teamwork through team-building activities.

Congratulations to the CSC Table Tennis Team as they were crowned the Champion of the WTT Singapore Smash Open Team Competition 2023 on 12 March 2023! The team flawlessly executed their strategies, launching lightning-fast smashes and returns. The gold medal was a symbol of their unbreakable bond as a team and their unwavering commitment to the sport. Well done team!

CSC Table Tennis players competed in the VTTCS International Table Tennis Tournament 2023 from 15 to 16 April & 29 to 30 April. The tournament attracted 470 players from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Japan, Myanmar and China.
