The aim of this evaluation is to reflect on the work carried out by NAGAS with the ultimate objective of providing a strategic foundation for the studio to move forward to develop and extend their work beyond current parameters. In particular I assess the effectiveness of the current ‘engagement, participation and development’ model (or ‘EPD’- see 2.1) from a member, referrer and stakeholder perspective. Following discussion with critical friends, potential stakeholders and beneficiaries, I also make a number of recommendations for the future. The evaluation demonstrates an emotive and overwhelming need for the project, particularly in terms of the remarkable impact of NAGAS on the lives of its members. This report highlights and celebrates phenomenal achievements, thereby evidencing good practice, and explores how NAGAS can extend their current client base, enhance social inclusion, reach more people in need of the service and develop financial sustainability and security.
