Paul from Clean and Clear Chimneys is a

chimney sweep and Hetas trained stove installer based in Whaplode, covering a 35 mile radius from Whaplode including Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk and Rutland. We met up with Paul to find out more about what he offers local residents.

I’m dedicated to safety and cleanliness and pride myself on leaving your home as clean as when I arrived, leaving you with peace of mind knowing your chimney is safe to use.

Prior to becoming a sweep, I was a time served precision engineer with over 20 years working in several types of precision component manufacture. This gives me a keen eye for detail.

I’m fully insured for peace of mind. All chimneys/flues are swept using a manual or rotary brush system and vacuum service also I provide a certificate which confirms your chimney has been swept to the industry code of practice. These certificates are recognised by insurance companies.

I carry a wide variety of rods and brushes suitable to sweep through any appliance, including multifuel and wood burning stoves. I can also service and maintain your solid

fuel appliances and obtain spares to keep your stove tip top. I also offer a full Hetas stove installation service so you can rest assured your stove has been properly installed and all certified to give you peace of mind. I also am able to offer chimney stack repairs, supply and fit bird guards, caps and cowls. The final string to my bow, is making appearances at weddings as a lucky chimney sweep!
