Ava Eight-year old Ava enjoys the fine arts including

dancing, drawing, painting and creating pottery. In

2016, she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, the most common type of cancer in children. During her treatment, she attended therapeutic art classes offered to patients at Children’s Cancer Hospital. Participating in the art classes helped her focus and kept her engaged in activities during treatment.
