The composition of cities is complex and fascinating. I am interested in discussing history, culture, and urban theory with people from different cultures to gain new perspectives. Although Taiwan's history is relatively young, its architecture, alleyways, and urban fabric showcase a complex and diverse political history. Its charm lies in integrating historical layers into our daily lives and preserving cultural identity in the face of conflict. I am curious about how other countries address these issues in their cultural context, and how they are affected by the rapidly changing technological and cultural behavioral patterns. I am looking forward to exploring different possibilities.

Urban Sandy Island Advisor: Yen-Yin,Lin Location: National Central Library,Taiwan Taiwan has a young and complex history, and the cultural conflicts of identity are also reflected in the urban fabric. These include the Memorial Square, which represents both authoritarianism and democracy; the community that developed into a prison due to colonial history but became deserted due to urban planning; and the National Library, which represents the relocation of Taiwan's history. These places allow us to see the past and the contradictions of the present. In a city that is changing behavior, are these rich and contradictory historical cultures like Sandy Island - mistakenly thought to have existed because they exist in carriers, and only need to be verified to prove their illusory nature?

The National Library - Liberty Square - Chiang Kai-shek Memorial park - Huaguang Community
Taiwan University was planned during the Japanese colonial period (1928), aligned with the former Government of Taiwan (1895), now the Presidential Office. Later, Chiang Ching-kuo arranged the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall (1980) and National Central Library (1986) along the same axis.

Books will be centralised in an underground mechanical warehouse, creating an unreadable book museum. The mechanical book warehouse has a suspended bridge and a blank wall that extends to the disappeared Huaguang community. A narrow corridor at the end of the visit.
B1 Plan scale:1/2500
A large square connects the parking lot, metro station, library basement, and elementary school behind. Citizens can see how books are retrieved and visitors entering the museum space through a transparent transmission wall. There are only three secret openings in this building for visitors to access another area.
GF Plan scale:1/2500
The first-floor entrance was replaced with a platform and screen wall. Sensory experience was deconstructed in the space as visitors on the platform can see the screen but not hear the music, while those below can hear the music but not see the entire screen.
Once depicted on maps and charts, Sandy Island was discovered to be fictional in 2012, casting doubt on maps as objective arbiters of truth and existence.

The design approach responds to the detachable state between the image and the space in the beginning. We break down the event, generate absence, and read it using a lost interface. Different daily paths are chosen depending on the role, and only by discovering an opening can we escape.

Dynamic structural intervention in Da Guan Yuan Advisor: Yu-wen,Chiu Site: Taoyuan City, Taiwan Keywords: asymmetric structure/installation intervention The formation of form in space and time, through the complex interaction of different factors, creates an overall system that has a decisive influence on the observer. -Aldo Rossi.The The Architecture of the City As available land for development becomes increasingly scarce, the demand for complex multifunctional spaces is on the rise. Flexibility in spatial arrangements and functions could be the solution to this problem. However, we must consider how to achieve such flexibility in practice, construct spaces that are truly adaptable and integrate these spaces into the urban fabric. Here, I propose one possible direction for addressing these challenges.
In 1945, after Taiwan was given to the Republic of China government from Japan, the US military were stationed in Zhongli District, making it an important military base.

In 1955, the US military decided to transfer its military bases to the south of Taiwan, resulting in the gradual withdrawal of the US military from Zhongli District. Some veterans settled in the community now known as Da Guan Yuan. Due to weak family structures and high mobility, most houses have now been abandoned.

Asymmetric Structure
Gravity can be used as a force that is simultaneously constraining and controllable to bring about changes in a spatial arrangement through rotation, creating structures with variability and scalability. These structures can be replicated and expanded by sharing components and extending them infinitely to meet changing needs.

Jiaoxi, a tourist town in Northeast Taiwan, is like a museum that allows visitors to experience mountains, rivers, the sea, and plains at the same time. The plan aims to address issues related to the environment, water, green infrastructure, and the impact of tourist traffic.

City Flip-Flop Exhibition_ Project manager In response to the theme of the circular city as a continuous flow of connection, regeneration, Organizer: Location : Program : Year : Status :
Taiwan C-Lab Taipei, Taiwan Exhibition 2019 Planning, Detail, Construction
and usage, I used recyclable materials and reusable metal components . The main structure was composed of steel cables with a series of continuous paper sheets, which are presented in various forms to create changes in viewing rhythms. The exhibition space presents a gentle, yet powerful, spatial atmosphere. The paper sheets float between lightness and tension, creating a state of balance. To make the exhibition itself an exhibit, emphasis is placed on details.

Balanced using active and passive pulleys and the material's weight, the key focus is aligning continuous sheet information with the audience's view. All objects are not fixed, reflecting an environment on the edge of balance. After the exhibition, they can be repurposed for true recycling in other venues.

site. In 2016, the Executive Yuan approved a plan to transform the area into a national railway museum and park. The preparatory office was established in August 2019 to initiate the Taipei Railway Workshop's ten-year project. This Documentary records Taipei Railway Workshop and museum formation processes. It also started with contemporary cultural constructions in Taiwan and discussed cultural visions with multiple consultants.
Contemporary Taiwanese culture and vision Inviting five professionals and five members of the public to embark on a journey to Taipei Machine Factory from five historically and culturally significant locations in Taipei using five different modes of transportation. Throughout this process, they explored cultural issues in Taiwan and expectations for the Railway Museum.
Start walking from The Department of Railways Park. Start biking from Treasure Hill Artist Village. Take a taxi from JingMei White Terror Memorial Park. Take a bus from Shihsanhang Museum of Archaeology. Depart on the first Taipei MRT line.
Documents Taipei Railway Workshop and museum formation processes. We recorded the pre-restoration architectural appearance of the Taipei Railway Workshop established during the Japanese colonial period, as well as the space and equipment of the wooden mold warehouse. We also documents the gatherings of people who had previously worked here.

‘Remain’ comes from the art documentary ‘Twin Temples, Mazu's Hair, and Hong Immortal’, which uses hair collected from salons to create a landscape installation resembling human remains. Visitors enter through a narrow, low entrance and walk through a bright white room and a hair landscape.

Taipei Fine Arts Museum Taipei City, Taiwan 2015 Construction
Winning project of the second X-site competition at Taipei Fine Arts Museum, this installation employs 240 sheets of composite paper and 740 meters of cables to create a landscape installation representing 139 spatial images of mountains, cities, rooms, etc. As visitors walk through the installation, they encounter unknown people and things, creating an experience of ‘encounter’.
My photographs were published in ta Magazine Vol.238, by invitation.
