SUMMER SCHOOL
The International Department would like to welcome you to study at Chichester College this summer! We are more than a language school, we have welcomed students from all over the world to our historic city of Chichester to grow and learn with us.

SUMMER AT CHICHESTER
Our summer school provides a packed calendar of learning, activities and day trips. Share your experiences with fellow students from a wide range of countries as you join us on trips to London, historic sites, local attractions and sports activities.

If you are 16 years or over, are ready to develop yourself, grow in confidence, and experience independent living, our UK Summer EFL courses offer the perfect opportunity.
ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS
Stay in our halls with the option of self-catering or full-board and eat in our dining halls. If you would like to experience our Summer School whilst staying within the local community then please opt for homestay accommodation.
SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAMME
21 hours of English programmes:
The Explorer all -inclusive package with full programme of activities, trips, and accommodation. The Voyager programme, standard flexible. Pay separately for your chosen accommodation and trips.
15 hours of English programme:
The Adventurer Package includes morning English lessons, five fun adrenaline-filled afternoon activities, and Saturday excursions, with accommodation and all essentials

We've put together an exciting programme for you- Stay with us in the friendly city of Chichester on the South Coast of England knowing that our dedicated team will keep you safe and entertained through-out your stay. Please note that you need to be 16 years or older to join our Summer School programme. Spaces are limited and filling up fast.

We have a large team to support our international students.
Our campus has staff available at all times, along with restaurants, sports fields, a gym, tennis courts, football fields, and lots of green spaces.
You can be sure that Chichester College is a great place to learn English and improve your social skills.
We also organise regular social events in the evenings and offer cultural and sightseeing trips to give you a great UK experience.

*If your English ability is a at CEFR level A1 or C2, please enquire about class availability before booking. Spaces for these levels are limited.
GENERAL ENGLISH 21 HOURS
Our General English 21 course focuses on improving grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation with emphasis on reading, writing, listening, speaking, and effective communication.
WE OFFER
EFL Courses available at levels A2-C1*.
Duration of 21 hours per week.
Minimum stay of two weeks.
Available for students aged 16 and over.
Start any Monday.
Maximum class size of 16 students.
*All students complete a free Oxford Online Placement Test before arrival, helping us place you in the class that best supports your success.
EXAM PREPARATION
Exam Preparation**: Cambridge, TOEIC & IELTS Exams familiarisation with exam structures, exam techniques and skills (level B1+).

Our Voyager Package is the ideal choice for those seeking to enhance their English skills and enjoy flexible options for trips and activities. You pay only for the things you want, making this our most cost-effective programme.

15 hours of General English classes per week (mornings)
6 hours of English options across four after-noons per week (choose from communication, exam skills, or IELTS readiness)
Choice of accommodation: stay in a safe host family or our on-campus halls of residence, and pay separately for this.

After our last inspection by Ofsted, Chichester College received a sixth consecutive 'outstanding' inspection grade for care standards in 2025.
Our residential provision has been officially recognized for excellence. Ofsted highlights our dedication to a "safe, supportive, and secure" environment where student wellbeing remains the central focus of everything we do.
The report stated: "Students make exceptional progress educationally, socially and emotionally through access to a multi-disciplinary team which provides bespoke wraparound support."
