Sustainable fashion Fashion and textiles students demonstrated their creativity through a collaborative project with charity Link to Hope, raising awareness of sustainability and fast fashion. Using donated materials, students designed and created unique garments and homeware, experimenting with techniques such as pattern cutting, construction and fabric manipulation. The project encouraged students to work with unfamiliar materials, resulting in a diverse range of innovative outcomes. Their work was showcased in a Worthing town centre shop window, giving students valuable real-world experience of exhibiting to the public.

Music Performance students were inspired by a masterclass from former student and professional drummer Gabi King. Returning as a successful alumna, Gabi demonstrated her performance skills using a live studio set-up created by students, allowing them to experience both the live and recording environments in action. Students gained valuable insight into the realities of working in the music industry and had the opportunity to ask questions about her career journey. Gabi has performed with major artists including Two Door Cinema Club, The 1975 and Ed Sheeran, and studied at the college between 2010 and 2012.
