Trío Remembranza
Trío Remembranza was founded in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico, in 2015 by Grabiel Rodríguez Ortiz. The members of the trio are master musicians with decades of teaching, recording, and performing history on the island. Grabiel Rodríguez Ortiz is the son of William “Gullín” Rodríguez, one of the greatest requintistas. The trio is completed by Angel E. Delgado Jiménez, the lead vocalist and third guitarist, alongside Angel M. Guzman Camacho, also a founding member and the third vocalist and second guitarist. Known for its versatile and commercial style, Trío Remembranza skillfully embraces various genres beyond bolero, including guaracha, waltz, bomba, cha-cha, bolero son, guajira, and more.
El Trío Remembranza fue fundado por Grabiel Rodríguez Ortiz en 2015 en Quebradillas, Puerto Rico. Los miembros del trío son músicos magistrales con una trayectoria de enseñanza, grabación e interpretación que abarca décadas en la isla. Gabriel Rodríguez Ortíz es hijo de William “Gullín” Rodríguez, uno de los más grandes requintistas. El trío está integrado además por Angel E. Delgado Jiménez, vocalista principal y tercer guitarrista, junto con Angel M. Guzman Camacho, también miembro fundador, tercera voz y segundo guitarrista. El Trío Remembranza, conocido por su estilo comercial y versátil, encompasa con habilidad varios géneros más allá del bolero, la guaracha, el vals, la bomba, el cha-cha-chá, el son bolero, la guajira y más.
Tres Souls
Tres Souls has been capturing hearts one bolero ballad at a time. For more than a decade, the trio of Rocio Mendoza, Roberto Carlos, and Jesus Martinez has serenaded audiences with the vintage sounds of the 1940s through the ’60s, songs from the golden era of Mexican cinema, and vibrant interpretations of boleros—all with a modern spin. Roberto Carlos launched Boleros de Noche as an annual Los Angeles event in 2015 with tremendous success.
The genre of boleros first originated in Cuba and made its way to Mexico by the 1940s. This style of music is usually performed by a three-piece band.
In 2019, Tres Souls released its first album, entitled Boleros Made in L.A. The members of the trio inherited their musical skills and knowledge of traditional Latin music from their families and generations before them. Tres Souls maintains a genuine sound depicting the classic niche style inspired by trios romanticos from the mid-century, such as Los Panchos with Eydie Gorme, Los Tres Reyes, and Los Tres Ases. Tres Souls skillfully infuses its own unique approach to each song in their repertoire, while interspersing musical influences that can be heard echoing throughout the Latin diaspora that is Los Angeles.
Tres Souls ha estado capturando corazones, un bolero a la vez. Durante más de una década, el trío formado por Rocío Mendoza, Roberto Carlos y Jesús Martínez ha deleitado al público con los sonidos retro, desde los años de la década de 1940 hasta los ’60, las canciones de la época de oro del cine mexicano y sus vibrantes interpretaciones de los boleros, todo con un giro moderno. Roberto Carlos lanzó Boleros de Noche como un evento anual en Los Ángeles en 2015, con un éxito enorme.
El género del bolero se originó en Cuba y llegó a México en la década de 1940. Este estilo musical generalmente se interpreta con un conjunto de tres músicos.
En 2019, Tres Souls estrenó su primer álbum, titulado Boleros Made in L.A. Cada uno de los miembros del trío heredó sus habilidades musicales y el conocimiento sobre la música tradicional latinoamericana de sus familias, datando de generaciones. Tres Souls mantiene un sonido genuino que muestra el estilo clásico y de nicho inspirado por los tríos románticos de los años 50, como Los Panchos con Eydie Gorme, Los Tres Reyes y Los Tres Ases. Tres Souls brinda con maestría su enfoque único a cada canción de su repertorio, a la vez que intercala las influencias musicales que hacen eco a través de la diáspora latina que constituye la ciudad de Los Ángeles.

Founded in 2015 by musician and cultural advocate Roberto Carlos, Boleros de Noche is more than a concert series—it’s a movement to preserve, uplift, and celebrate Latin American bolero music for future generations. What started in Los Angeles has blossomed into a nationally recognized platform for bolero’s revival, bringing together intergenerational audiences for unforgettable live experiences. In just the last few years, Boleros de Noche:
• Earned recognition from the City of Los Angeles, which declared August 5 “Día del Bolero”
• Became one of only forty recipients of the L.A. County Performing Arts Recovery Grant
• Sold out the Ford Theater with Grammy Award–winning artists like Gaby Moreno, Marisoul (La Santa Cecilia), and the legendary Los Panchos

Tan solo en unos años, Boleros de Noche:
• Ha ganado el reconocimiento de la Ciudad de Los Ángeles, con la declaración del 5 de agosto como el “Día del Bolero”
• Se convirtió en uno de los cuarenta galardonados con la subvención L.A. County Performing Arts Recovery Grant
