Led by charismatic conductor Thomas Wilkins, members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra perform selections of works by Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, Mendelssohn and more, introducing younger audience members to classical music and providing a sense of excitement and belonging after a year of uncertainty and isolation. The concert, which also features Crain-Maling Foundation CSO Young Artists Competition winners Rosie Wang, flute, and Isabella Brown, violin, is perfect for ages 5-12.
