THE EPICENTER OF MUSICAL BRILLIANCE
The Chicago Symphony Orchestra welcomes your group to Symphony Center, the musical heart of the city, to be entertained and inspired. Throughout the 2023/24 Season, the CSO displays its extraordinary talents, performing repertoire from five different centuries and representing a broad range of compositional voices. Experience incredible pieces by Beethoven, Brahms, Bruckner, Mahler, Ravel, Montgomery, Tchaikovsky and many others.

Maestro Riccardo Muti returns to Chicago in September for two weeks of concerts and the annual Symphony Ball. Celebrated guest conductors appearing at the podium this season include Michael Tilson Thomas, Gemma New, Jakub Hrůša, Klaus Mäkelä and Kazuki Yamada. Featured soloists performing with the CSO include violinist Hilary Hahn, cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason, pianist Yuja Wang and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis. The awe-inspiring Chicago Symphony Chorus performs cherished works, including two of the most revered oratorios in the repertoire: Handel’s Messiah and Mendelssohn’s dramatic Elijah.
Experience the thrill of watching cherished films on the big screen as the score is performed by the CSO. Your group will adore Disney’s pioneering classic Fantasia, the MGM musical An American in Paris and Steven Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind with an unforgettable score by John Williams.
Symphony Center Presents concerts offer your group the opportunity to hear some of today’s most distinguished artists in the historic Orchestra Hall at Symphony Center.

Join us for breathtaking piano recitals by Sir András Schiff, Hélène Grimaud and Evgeny Kissin, as well as the debuts of Bruce Liu and the Jussen brothers in a duo recital. Don’t miss the highly anticipated return of violinist Maxim Vengerov, who last performed in Orchestra Hall nearly 20 years ago. Daniel Barenboim, the CSO’s ninth music director, also returns to Chicago conducting the Staatskapelle Berlin. Symphony Center Presents Jazz celebrates its 30th season with the debut of the 2023 Grammy Award winner for Best New Artist, vocalist Samara Joy, and welcomes back venerated masters including the Brad Mehldau Trio, drummer Makaya McCraven and the inimitable Herbie Hancock.
