Israeli conductor Lahav Shani makes his CSO debut in a program of Russian passion with two of Rachmaninov’s most celebrated works and Prokofiev’s powerful wartime statement on triumph over adversity. Behzod Abduraimov, a pianist of “prodigious technique and rhapsodic flair” (The New York Times), also makes his CSO debut.
