Obama Presidential Center Set to Open in June The Barack Obama Presidential Center (OPC) will open its doors to the public in June 2026, former President Obama announced last month. The Center’s 19.3-acre campus in Jackson Park will include a museum devoted to Obama’s presidency, a basketball court, a community garden, and a branch of the Chicago Public Library.
