Comcast also can assist attendees who want to apply using laptops, smartphones and tablets they bring to the event. “I’m really pleased that Comcast has chosen Hyde Park to open an XFINITY Store and to recruit in the neighborhood,” said Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle. “The neighborhood is booming and the addition of new jobs will fuel its continued growth.” “The 4th Ward possesses a wealth of assets,
one of which is our human capital. Therefore, I am pleased that Comcast has chosen Hyde Park to open an XFINITY Store, and more importantly to recruit talent from the neighborhood to staff its retail store,” added Chicago 4th Ward Alderman Sophia King. Comcast was recently named one of the 2017 Best Places to Work in Illinois. The awards program began in 2006 and is promoted by the Daily Herald Business Ledger in partnership with the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago (HRMAC), the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, MRAThe Management Association, the Small Business Advocacy Council, the Greater Oak Brook Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group.
