“Songs For A New World is a beautiful show that tells the stories of people at immense moments of change in their lives. Moments where they have to make decisions or perhaps decisions have been made for them, but the “New World” is the world that will come when everything changes for them. We wanted to take this show that is traditionally played by only four actors and make it about the many, a larger story that represents how the singular journey is actually the journey of a community, of the many, woven together. These amazing young performers have learned this extraordinarily complex show in only a few weeks.
