All productions will be held at 7 PM in the Jim & Kay Mabie Auditorium, unless noted otherwise. Due to the unexpected nature of COVID, ChiArts has adapted a Production Tier system to transition between live and remote shows determined by CPS guidelines.

PRODUCTION TIERS ChiArts will adapt to prioritize our community’s safety. Any production transition below Tier 1 will be communicated internally via email to families and externally in ChiArts e-bulletins and social media platforms.

TO

TIER 1 LIVE IN PERSON: FULL AUDIENCE This version of performances is the same as previous years, full audience, all live performers, and chaperones. Masks are at the discretion of ChiArts and Chicago Public Schools (CPS).

TIER 2 LIVE IN PERSON: PARTIAL AUDIENCE This version of performance is similar to Live In Person: Full Audience, with the exception that the audience number will be limited to the recommended number and social distancing according to local regulations and ChiArts’ discretion. Masks are at the discretion of ChiArts and CPS.

TIER 3 LIVE STREAM: IN PERSON, NO AUDIENCE This version of performance will be performed at ChiArts, at its scheduled time, with no audience members present in the performance space. We will live stream via Google Meets and a link will be sent out to students and families prior to performance time. No chaperones will be required. Masks are at the discretion of ChiArts and CPS.

TIER 4 PRE-RECORDED: NO AUDIENCE This version of performance will be pre-recorded, and distributed to students and families on the scheduled date. Recording can take place during conservatory, unless otherwise necessary. Masks are at the discretion of ChiArts and CPS.

TIER 5 ONLINE PRODUCTION FREEVERSE In the event that we return to remote or hybrid learning, we will resume the Free Verse series and a new production calendar will be released. Should AUD = JIM & KAY MABIE we resume hybrid learning, weAUDITORIUM will be able to record *PRODUCTION BEGINS AT 6:30 PM students during conservatory.
