Started by a woman named Honorine, she said in a recent interview with Just Because, “This account is created as a safe space to share our stories and our journeys with others, different from overselves yet so very much the same, all united in our quest to be kinder to our bodies as they are today.”

Created by Plus Model Magazine in an effort to celebrate curves.

Started by Selina Weeks of Manik Magazine. Weeks was inspired by Golden’s advocacy for women of all sizes to feel confident in swimwear.

Blogger Amanda Richard sparked an important conversation in the body positive community. Richards’ goal was to increase the visibility and voice of women not usually showcased in mainstream fashion.

A social media campiagn by activist Virgie Tovar, who has proclaimed that the philosophy behind the movement is to, “I am never good enough”, mindset. Such a mindset is often the central motivator in people’s lives, so this campaign aims to re-center self care and self-love, according to her personal website.
