8th Annual Cheverus Catholic School Gala
Dear Cheverus Supporters,
Thank you for attending the 8th Annual Gala and for your support of Cheverus Catholic School. Whether you purchased an ad, volunteered your time, or came to cheer on a family member or friend, your contributions have greatly contributed to our success. Your support allows us to continue to offer affordable tuition to all families who want an education for their children rooted in love and acceptance.
Funds raised tonight will allow us to continue to make yearly improvements that enable us to better serve our diverse student body. It will also allow us to continue to improve our outdoor play areas and our historic building. Of course, each year we reserve funds for student scholarships, as well.
Tonight’s honorees all have played an enormous role in the loving atmosphere for which Cheverus has come to be known. Ms. Mary Beth Leon has been tirelessly dedicated to Cheverus, starting as a parent and then as a teacher for the last 23 years! Ms. Angela Lee, a former Cheverus student and mother, has supported the school as a member of the gala committee and the consultative board. Ms. Catherine MacMullin, another former Cheverus student, was also the aunt of an alum. She has led the Teen Center helping with countless tasks around our building over the years.
Without these honorees and your support, we wouldn’t be able to provide the student experience we do today. Cheverus has a great reputation, and it is largely thanks to these honorees and to all of you. Thank you all again and have a wonderful evening.
